When I make handmade soaps, I first carefully select the ingredients I will use, such as vegetable oils, butters, and essential oils. Then, I calculate the necessary amounts to ensure a balanced and beneficial blend for the skin.

The process begins by heating the oils and mixing them with sodium hydroxide in a controlled environment. This reaction is called saponification, where the ingredients transform into soap and glycerin. During this process, I add natural colorants, herbs, or clays to give texture and color to the soap.
